The World

The last card in the Major Arcana, The World signifies the completion of a cycle. After the troughs and peaks, finally, all the wheels align, bringing forth a profound sense of wholeness and enlightenment. When received upright, it signals the culmination of a milestone - one that you have worked hard for, be it graduation, a career break, birth, matrimony, or even a journey toward healing. You have persevered through every strife and challenge, allowing you to arrive at this moment where the inner self and outer world unite as one. There is nothing left to do except enjoy this state of fulfillment, always keeping in mind that cycles are infinitely evolving and that another will eventually begin anew.

Despite having it all, there are moments when you feel a sense of emptiness. On the outside, your life seems almost perfect. You might have a loving relationship, recognition all around, a successful job, or financial stability; yet it still feels as if a piece is missing. This is what The World in reverse conveys. What is your definition of wholeness? Whose standards is it based upon? Is there anything in your past that hinders you from fully connecting to the present?
