When drawn upright, this suggests you are currently experiencing an awakening and growth driven by self-assessment. You will soon find yourself evaluating your values and purpose, along with what actions are necessary to achieve them. Sometimes, this means making a life-altering choice that will change the course of your history – a choice that is essential for you to embrace a new chapter.

In reverse, Judgment suggests that we might be falling short of self-reflection, leading to unawareness, denial, blame (either directed at oneself or others), doubt, and missed opportunities. You might be engaging in excessive self-criticism and dwelling on what may have gone wrong in the past, failing to recognize that mistakes serve as valuable tools for growth and learning. This card encourages you to engage in self-evaluation, not rumination, to recognize vital lessons and use them to gain greater awareness on how to carry on with insight, forgiveness, compassion, and strength.
